HISTORY
Bishop Oranzie and Co Pastor Barbara Simmons are the founders and overseers of Faith Overcomes Ministries, Inc., Fayetteville, NC. Faith Overcomes Ministries started in their home in December, 2004 with just two families. The ministry moved from the home into a local hotel where membership grew.
In 2006 the ministry relocated to 325 Russell St where it began its outreach ministries as follows: prison ministry, food pantry, clothing closet, evangelistic outreach and rest home ministry.
In October of 2010, the ministry purchased a 4000 ft building and land on Eastern Blvd that will contain a day care, food pantry, clothing closet, homeless shelter and children’s ministry. In the future, the ministry plans to purchase additional acreage at the same location to continue to fulfill the vision of Faith Overcomes Ministries.
Bishop Oranzie and Co Pastor Barbara Simmons are the proud parents of seven children: Tahara, Syreeta, Oranzie III, Marcellus, Emmanuel, David and Jamin. They have six beautiful grandchildren: Alyssia, Nicholas, Timothy, Alliyah, Oranzie IV and Jamila.
